Offda! What a whirlwind weekend it was!
Our Grand Opening was a huge success and we had a BLAST! We got to meet lots of new people, hear lots of old memories and stories, and see lots of good friends and family. We couldn't be more pleased!
I don't think either of us slept at all on Friday night. The anticipation of opening our Gift Shop the next morning was just too exciting!
When we opened the doors to the shop Saturday morning, we looked at each other with tired eyes and reminded each other of how much we've accomplished in just six months, getting ready for This Day. Here we go!
It was so exciting to greet our first customers, and was very enjoyable to meet more and more people throughout the day. It was also fun to see our customers choose the objects they were drawn to.
At the end of the day, we were exhausted - but exhilarated! We're excited for more fun weekends like this throughout the year.
